V-TEK, Inc. Acquires A&J Programming
April 26, 2024
We are excited to announce V-TEK Holdings has acquired A&J Assembly, Inc. This acquisition, along with their current holding, V-TEK, Inc. combines a total of over 80 years of semiconductor industry experience and exceptional customer service in the manufacturing of equipment, programming and taping of components and distributing supplies.
A&J Programming’s facility and operations will remain in San Jose, continuing to provide industry-leading turnaround times for programming and taping services. The acquisition will provide additional resources for growth as well as allow for a broader product and service offering to our combined customer bases.
A&J has been a long-time customer of V-TEK, using numerous systems for visual inspection, sorting, counting, and taping components. “We are excited to join the V-TEK family and have full access to their equipment line and engineering team. The opportunity for growth is there and now we have the resources to pursue it” said Jim Howell, owner of A&J.
“A&J, like V-TEK, has been a fixture in the semiconductor industry since the beginning and we couldn’t be happier to combine their years of experience and customer satisfaction with our own,” said Mitch Jacobs, President and CEO of V-TEK. “Along with the Royce Instruments product line that was acquired in 2013, the company is poised for the continued growth expected within the industry.”
